The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved the first place in the 2022 Index of E-Government and Mobile Government Services Maturity, issued by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), a subsidiary of the United Nations. The index measures the maturity of government services provided through electronic portals and smart applications based on three sub-indices: service availability and development, service usage and satisfaction, and public access.
